MNTN represents developers of all size in the five boroughs. Over the years we have assisted our clients in successful borrowings in excess of two billion dollars.

Structured Financing:

The firm represents developers (and equity participants) in the structured financing of acquisition, project and construction loans. We help our clients create the vehicles to best achieve their financing goals as well as satisfying the various type of lenders’ requirements, including senior and mezzanine and other subordinated debt, blended rate notes, multi-layered equity, in which we can help create different classes of senior, junior and subordinated equity, as well as “debtquity,” a form of equity that has debt-like qualities.

General Corporate:

MNTN works with our clients to create the most efficient corporate entities based on the transaction and our clients’ ultimate exit strategies.

Offering Plans:

MNTN represents sponsors in the filing of condominium and cooperative offering plans, guiding our clients throughout the intricate compliance process from initial filing through acceptance and all necessary amendments through the sellout of the project.

Condominium Sales:

MNTN handles the contract negotiations and closings for the sponsor of the condominium and/or co-op units. We coordinate with brokers, construction teams, management companies, and prospective purchasers and their attorneys in order to close title to the units, while working closely with our clients’ lenders to pay down the underlying financings.

Commercial Condominium Sales and Leases:

MNTN represents the owners of commercial spaces in condominium, cooperatives or rental buildings that want to sell their commercial spaces. We also represent owners of commercial units in negotiating leases for long-term tenants.

Permanent Financing:

MNTN represents developers who have completed their rental projects and need to flip their construction loans into permanent financing for their properties.

Article 7 Tax Appeal Representation:

MNTN represents owners in New York City related to Article 7 judicial petitions in order to challenge NYC’s assessed valuations of property and reduce real property taxes.

Other Areas of Practice:

MNTN also represents developers, owners and condominium boards with respect to access agreements; we work with developers, owners, other law firms and expeditors in effectuating tax lot subdivisions; we also represent condominium boards and unit owners in various matters outside of litigation (including unit mergers, interpretation and amending of condominium declarations, by-laws and rules and regulations of the condo).
